Fuel Catalyst And Mpg

Modus

Recommended Posts

I haven't tried it... don't know if it would be cost effective enough or not.

But I keep brewing to go for it

It works better on some cars and not others. Seems it breaks down the clusters of hydrocarbons into smaller groups for a more complete burn.

What do you guys think?

Scam. However,

I'm selling vice grip fuel savers. By crimping your gas line you actually save gas by not letting gas to your engine. Which in turn improves gas mileage and fuel efficiency. You can get on the VS group buy if you wish. :D

I have helped a couple friends. From memory they paid almost 400 for that system. Even if it adds 2mpg its gonna take a LONG time to pay back out. But the short answer is I have never seen one work. If you know the rolling resistance for the vehicle, efficiency for the engine and BTUs of a fuel you can figure out the maximum MPG you can get. Most claims would require an engine with over 100% efficiency. That obviously not going to happen. Well unless you have that 200mpg carb that Exxon has locked up. No where is my foil hat. I feel gov waves again ;)

So far the only 'fuel saving device' I have seen actually work is the inline fuel heater.

It robs power to increase efficiency. It is simply an inline extruded aluminum heat exchanger.

By clamping the heat exchanger to the upper radiator hose and then running the fuel through it you effective heat the fuel.

In turn this helps the fuel vapor off when it hits the cylinder and prevents any liquid fuel from incompletely burning and going out the tailpipe as Hydrocarbons (HC). Also helps reduce CO by approx 0.2%.

Again, terrible for power but it does help MPG by approx 3-4%. I'd be careful running one on a turbo car.

Cost for the ones I've seen are about $45.

Not that I recommend them, just FYI.

I have a 500watt one and love it...... waits thats on the diesel

does it work... water is NOT my invention. And it's not new. Based on old "forgotten" science that is well documented in US Patents we have developed devices that use a little electricity out of your car/truck battery, to separate water into a gas called "HHO" (2 parts Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also called Brown's Gas or Hydroxy, burns beautifully and provides TONS of energy - while the end product is just WATER! Mobile Magazine says: HHO provides the atomic power of Hydrogen, while maintaining the chemical stability of water.

DID YOU KNOW: Pound for pound HHO GAS IS 3 TIMES MORE POTENT THAN GASOLINE!!! HHO is a fast growing trend for boosting performance and MPG.

News to me. Last I heard they could not even get it to be viable in a multimillion dollar gov test vehicle.

so, we expend energy to split water into it's components, then get more energy back when they are recombined into water again? <_<
