SL8Brick Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2008 Whew....I'm exhausted and ready for a nap. What a meet!! Gorgeous weather. At my last count early in the day we were well over 50 cars, probably closer to 60. I didn't even bother to tally FWD vs RWD since the cars were intermixed this time. Having the classics there was a BIG bonus. Lots of new faces and names to remember. In the beginning, I was doing my best to meet-n-greet everyone as they came in...but then everyone started flowing in so fast I just couldn't keep up. I'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out. You're the ones who make these meets successful. And just like S.Philly, we've been invited back to Conshohocken for another engagement. Obviously Ikea's personel were impressed by our presence.I know people are still in transit on their way home as I write this, but I sincerely hope everyone arrives home safely. To those of you who spent hours on the road and mega-$$ in your gas tank, my hat's off to you. As far as I'm concerned, you need not prove your dedication since your actions speak volumes.
