Were you pulled over while the aircraft still had visual, or were you stopped when the ground officer caught up to you?

No, I was still scooting along 75N near mm400 or just north and I saw him pull out to follow me. There were a few of us that day. :(

"But your honor, I was driving the NA base model without a sunroof, please let me go?!!!"

Nope, that didn't work Chuck

No points for aircraft? Never heard of such a thing. Near as I can tell, Ga doesn;t use the out of state stuff for points anyway. At least that's what I can glean so far. Great news if not. I know my insurance knows about the ticket itself because I just changed to Liberty Mutual in February/March. I bought and paid a twelve month policy too so I suppose that helped.

GA seems to operate in a world of its own. Ran a red light (by accident) in GA and it never affected my rates in FL. But when I applied for coverage here 4 years ago, the agent could see everything that NC and SC had reported (mostly minor stuff).

The Blinder could be an option. I've read a few reviews that said good things, but who knows how much bias was there. One of the reviews I read refused to review the K40 for undisclosed reasons for example. (It's the site I'm linking to, so keep that in mind)

I remember those!! lol doubt if they work, Plus if you get caught with it, how much will that cost?

I read that drivers in china are using james bond style number plates where the numbers move at the flick of a switch!

No idea what they are called though.

Laser jamming is not illegal in the USA currently, however active radar jamming is.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but "doubt if they work" isn't exactly a great response.

OK, so I found out my ticket is only going to run me $224 and I don't have to go to court over it after all. Whew!

So I just ordered my ZR4 to go with my Escort 8500 x50 blue. Should have it tuesday and hopefully instlled for my vacation trip to Kissimee on Thursday.

Can't wait to see it work. Fxck Em :P :P

Maybe it isn't my place to interject this, but not speeding costs a lot less and doesn't require expensive equipment :) I go 55mph in a 55mph zone and get 31-32mpg (93 octane); I go 80mph in a 55mph and I probably drop to mid-low 20's in fuel economy, end up with pricey tickets/points against my license/jacked insurance premiums, or I can buy expensive equipment and flirt with disaster? I don't think it's that terribly difficult of a decision.

Not trying to be condescending or "told-ya-so", just saying, it's cheaper and safer. I can leave 5 minutes early, drive the speed limit, and get there the same time someone else did who piddled around then exceeded the speed limit en route.

Maybe I'm just getting old.
