yea i see that my postings are questionable... but even if i did know at that point (i didnt) i still killed any sale on the car anyway due to this thread. and i am going to contant those people to find out whats wrong.

mike

yeah, just sent you another PM with more info. tell Anders that you are pretty desperate, and that you can come in as early or whenever he can squeeze you in on a saturday! this weekend he's probably not working, but you can call him and find something out.

look at it this way, if you get lucky and it's an easy fix, your money was well spent, and you may decide to keep the car and really enjoy it, or you can sell it as a known built car and make some money back....the bottom line is that you just never know, and you should really be trying to get it diagnosed, and get some paperwork and numbers on what's wrong.

where is the paperwork from the dealer stating what is wrong with the engine? i really want to see what those lazy morons had to say, especially since they didn't do a compression test or anything of the sort lol.

Yeah, a real diagnoses with numbers and more info is what this thread needed from the beginning. I still think the compression test doesn't prove 100% that the engine is working right as my test was fairly decent.

yeah, but atleast it's a start man....right now, we're just taking shots in the dark....let's get proper diagnosis, and this is the first step. where is Mike getting this done?

Okay, VSD is not the right place to go to get it checked. I've been there a hundred times. Not too many people with brains working there. Let's see what happens, but I'm not going to take their diagnosis very seriously.

Let me see if I can get in touch with Jason, and we can get it done at his shop.

I trust your judgement...But.

Mike told me that the tech who is working on his car right now has worked on performance Volvos before. Mike spoke with him in depth about the entire motor situation and according to Mike was very knowledgeable.

Lets just wait to hear what they say before we jump to conclusions ;). At least they will respond in a timely manner.

Left a message with Jason. If he calls me really soon, then I can maybe have you make the trip out there. He was in Escondido the last time I talked to him. He's at a European car works place.

I mean, anyone can BS about what he does and doesn't know about this kind of stuff. It really depends on how much Mike knows. Let's see what happens though.

The issue with Brendan was somewhat serious, and more or less unfortunate. He first contacted me ~3wk or so after the suspension arriving He said the intermediate mount was broken and there was no hardware. Well, the hardware part was dumb to me, but I told him I'd pay for both. He eventually just brushed it off and decided he'd just pay for it later. Days later I get another pm saying there is major damage to the struts and he wants his money back. yea a little from left field.

Check your info, its all posted in the thread. PMs were sent on the same day within hours of each other and in no way did I brush anything off and say I would pay for it, I just stated it was the lesser of the two problems.

As for your technical speculation provided, lol, I'll let Grant work on my car before I ever listen to a car related comment of yours.

Unfortunately my thread got closed because people could not keep themselves in check regarding a different issue and this is Baker's thread, so I'll stop. I did not post my thread "expecting" to get my money back, it was obvious through your attitude in PMs that you would not voluntarily return anything. I merely posted to show others what kind of seller you are when there is a problem. Anyone can sell a good part to a good buyer and have a good outcome. What really matters is when an issue arises...and we all know how that turns out with you.
