MrLorence Posted July 6, 2008 Report Share Posted July 6, 2008 Wow, I really want the last 30 minutes of my life back..Few things:--Friends don't let friends install motors , it may sound like a sweet idea at first but it will only hurt you in the long run. Sometimes its best to just let the pro's deal with it. I personally wouldn't let ANYONE except a professional install something that complex into my car, this post is the supporting why I feel that way. All this bitching and moaning isn't going to get you squat! If you had someone do it, and spent the extra money you would be driving the car.--Bad idea signing that "contract." Scootdiggity Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 I followed Boomin850's threads in the past and I remember he really did his build with money he didnt have in the first place. He then completed the build and a few months later he was selling the engine which I thought was very strange to begin with after he spent that time on it. If you do a build your going to plan on keeping it for awhile otherwise dont even do it. Only reason I can think of a person doing this is he needed to unload his newly discovered defective built motor and other parts to an unexpecting Vser at their cost to pay his debt which is pretty shitty. I further believe Boomin850 had his plan from the start to screw people over to get his debt payed back after he found out the problem with his motor and had no more money to put into the car so it was his only way out. To mbaker if you signed his contract it goes to show you he new something beforehand and wanted to cover his backside. Well baker keep your head up. If it would of been for the crack in adams motor it woudl of been done in two days. I did mine R one in two days with out a problem only residing issue right now with the car is I neeed a new O2 sensor. wich is in the mail .
