echristodo
best part the carpets hook right up on the the hooks that your supposed to use for the carpet mats The carpet hooks up to the floor right underneath those tabs? You think I will have to clean the floorboards at all, or is the carpet lined wtih rubber or something? Thanks for all your help guys, although it would probably have been a lot funnier to let me rug doctor it and post pictures of mayhem!
bigric
+1 on the Bissell machine. We've had that one for years and done cars, carpets, sofas, rugs... You won't regret it. If your car's really that dirty, pull the seats like Zohan said to make sure you get all the carpet clean. That, or when you stick your hand between the seats you'll get it fuzzy and gooey. I removed the rubber foam in my R-M and replaced it with Dyno matt since the car was in a flood. just pull the front seats out and the rear seat bottoms out and the carpet will pull right out might have to loosen up the center console not sure on the 01 in the R I had to , to get the carpet back in around it perfect.
