dealers overcharge for parts and servicing and exactly true, my mech will say, u can get away with that till next service n stuff but importants things must be done even if they pay for em themselves and i pay em later.

Funny thing, when they were putting in my boost gauge he took it for a spin and said ur wipers r monkeyed , let me change them on the house, can't have u driving with bad wipers, i think they r like 22$ a wiper, he put em on no charge.

First off it's been determined and proven the Volvo fluid is NOT synthetic. Get the same fluid, JWS 3309 spec, which is Mobil 3309 from either a Toyota dealer ($5 per quart) or from a Mobil distributor for $50 -12 case quart. Do several drain and fills and call it a day.

If you truly need coils, then buy them for $65 apiece and get plugs (I used plain Jane Champion Plats - with rebates cost 70 Cents apiece at Pepboys right now. It's a real easy job and I know since I have done it and I am no genius.

Stuts I couldn't attempt though. You just knocked off $600 easily with those two items.
