irf Posted July 5, 2008 Report Share Posted July 5, 2008 sitting here getting bored.went to the ring last weekend with some others from T5D5. lets put it this way. most things that get hyped up never live up to it. the nurburgring far far exceeded any expectations of mine and i had very high expectations!pics timeen routearrive at the track. car park full of serious machinery. more M3 csl then M3's. more GT3 RS then carrera 2's. place was just mental!!i'll post some pics on track. irf Posted July 6, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 6, 2008 i actually spoke to the guy with the green GT3RS. i had arranged to get an hours tuition with some guys at RSR which is a few hundred metres from the entrance to the track and while waiting outside, he turns up.yeah, he had it shipped over, took a few weeks but instead of just a weekend he had been at the ring for the whole week. he was either going or had just been to Spa as well.got talking to him as he wasn't up his own arse, just an enthusiast, has a tourag, SL and an M6 at home. he was at RSR to get some tyres and i think he needed pads as well.
