We are happy to make a new product announcement. As many of you know, vptuning.com sells the Super Clear Headlamps for the 1994+ 850 Series. Now, we will have the same product with a black bezel. The turn signal lenses will also be included in a 'package deal'.

We will start to take preorders so they can be shipped out as soon as they come in from Europe. The headlamp glass is DOT appoved while the turn signal lenses are E-spec (single filament bulbs).

The price will be $619.99 plus s/h costs. This includes the headlamps and turn signal lenses.

Post here or email me if you have any questions or are interested in ordering.

As I'm sure others are curious about, what is the beam pattern like?

I use an aftermarket HID kit and with the way that it throws light around in the stock headlights I am looking for a solution. Are these reflector-based lights? Some photos of them in use would seal the deal for me. Thanks George and all the vendors for bringing more cool products across the pond.

I've got the regular clear jewel headlights. They do use a reflector. The one thing I noticed and like about them is that they spread the light out a lot wider, while still providing the same lighting distance in front of you. The pictures don't do the lights real justice. They look 10x better once they're actually on the car.

bitjockey,

The headlamps are indeed reflector based. As you may know, the ECE light output has a sharper cutoff to reduce glare and increase the amount of light diffused onto road signs. There is a 15degree diagonal cutoff on the right side to better illuminate sidewalks and road signs.

I recommend you guys place your orders very soon. We have a preorder allocation of 10 sets and the manufacturer is on backorder with these headlamps. Get yours now from vptuning.com!
