Turbo Upgrade

I have a 1997 850r wagon that needs a turbo replaced. This is my fiances car that i play with and do all maintance on. I am wondering where i can buy a new 16t turbo? i dont think she needs anything bigger because i am not worrying about her motor yet. I think this has a 15t right now but i have heard if i was to buy a turbo the 16t is a little better to build up with. Can i get some help from you volvo guru's and support i love this car and want to keep it running nice.

oil blow by.......i did the whole stage 0 now and still has blow by..........car runs great but i think it is feeling weaker when in boost. ..... i replaced pcv system, plugs, ipd wires, cap and rotor (bosch), vaccum lines, radiator hoses, thermostat (87), heater core, all motor seals and yes rear main seal, new struts, timing belt, probally missing something, car does have 202,000 on this factory turbo though thats awsome. i this was done in the last 6 months with a friends help, trying to keep it up to tip top shape the car looks great just want to keep it running that way too.....

i have heard to actually go with 16t w/ angled outlet is better up grade just will have to chnge my downpipe. is this true?

I have a 19t for sale , I really want a 18t it only has 30,000 on it ;)

Why didn't you like the 19t, to hard to tune? I was going to buy one but if its just a head ache, I'll go with the 18t. By the way are those both angled flanges (19t & 18t)?

nah want a 18t , its never acutally been on my car I am getting it friday :lol:

I have a 15g turbo out of an 97 850. Has ~40000 miles on it, but has been out of the car it came from for a good two years. Would definitely need a rebuild, but that would cost about 350 if you shop around. I'll sell it for 140 shipped if you're interested. You could even look into port/polish on it as well. All in all, a rebuilt/upgraded 15g would probly cost the same as a 16T+new DP. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
