8501995
Hi,I would like to know if there is a switch on the dash of an 850 1995 that is using a switch that does not stay in an on/off position but rather is only a push button.I would like to route my alarm system to one of those, so I would like to use a switch that I don't already have and put it in an empty slot so that it would look original. The buttons I'm talking about are located besides the steering wheel, I think I only have the TRACS (traction control on/off switch) on there, so lots of empty spots! (My car is pretty much stock!)Thanks!
icefalls
My '94 850 has the kind of switch are talking about, I think, for TRACS. To switch TRACS on, your press the switch, which then returns to the original position, and the light for TRACS comes on. To turn it off, you again press the button in the same way, and the light goes off.If that is what you want, go looking for a '93 or '94 switch.Edited: Sorry, I meant the rear de-mister, not the TRACS. potroast
Sunroof provides 2 of these in 1 switch. the Defroster also is one.
shurgen
Sunroof provides 2 of these in 1 switch. the Defroster also is one.←I think sunroof is different from defroster as to open or close it you have to press and hold the button until the sunroof is open or closed, then you realease the button
Guest Guest
hey, volvo has a door lock switch that fits on those slots on the dash next to the steering wheel. i forgot the part number but i can get it later, or u can just get it from ur dealer. u may be able to use it, i'm not sure, but i'm gonna guess it sorta is a push-to-make/break spst switch.
