Recommended Posts

Im new to the forum so forgive me if I ask something dumb. I just got a 1996 850 platinum wagon, riding down the road and this plug came out of the left side of the intake looks like a freeze plug with vacuum line in the center. So can someone tell me why it did that and how to fix this problem THANKS.

Well, I could try to answer you...sounds like the PVC system hoses that got dislodged at the PTC nipple. Most likely this is a dealer item as the connection at the bottom of the accordion hose is called a bayonet connector and they are a royal oh yeah! to get back in...if it's broken there, then it's a lost cause and you'll need a new accordion hose. Sometimes these are on eBay but pretty rare for a turbo hose. Good luck and let us know how you come out...oh, for after market, you might find this large hose (comes with the connectors on them for those hoses) at either www.fcpgroton.com or www.eeuroparts.com Free shipping from eeuroparts if it's $40 or more.
