Ferrari's Part2

This saturday I headed off once again to the Ferrari meet in West Chester, PA. I had a great time, and this time was accompanied by some friends. After the meet was over we headed to King of Prussia for lunch and then an M3 meet. The M3 guys were all really nice, and very respectful of my R. Anyhow, here's a few pictures from the day. I didn't take many of the M3 thing, but the 4 of us got some half-decent pictures together. We, apparently, also like black cars.

I guess I should explain a bit about the red euro plate and why it's not going anywhere. Mostly, people like it and I think all european plates are cool (certainly cooler than ours imo). Anyhow, when you pick up your car "European delivery" from Volvo, it has a red and white plate like that on the front and the back. Those are swedish temp tags basically. My car was a European delivery car and the original owner gave them to me. It's my little homage to him I guess, plus I think it's pretty cool to boot.

Pay attention a little bit in traffic for Volvos and Saabs with this red type of plate on the front. More than likely they too were european delivery. I have seen about a dozen or so in a years time.

MIKE! Was this Saturday? I live in West Chester! AND, you passed Stillman Volvo I bet on route 202 right there... and I was working Saturday too!

Also, I passed that blue slammed M3 Saturday and my jaw dropped!

Ya know, all those pictures I've seen of the exhaust on your R have left me thinking it's too big... but they've all mostly been from directly behind it.

... Having seen it now at the angle from the rear driver's side, I gotta say, it's definitely not too big. Sexy, really. I think it flows with the bumper lines better.

Great shots, GREAT CAR (best. interior. evar.)... def. looks like a fun time!

Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words! I am really starting to like these meets. Anyone ever wanting to go let me know I will give you details. Anyhow...I have to ask...what does FAP mean? Sorry...I feel old. I really liked that turboS too...but the wheels kind of sucked...they were chromed and just looked like they didn't fit the character of the car to me. That GT3 is LOUD. And I don't know what it's owner does, but he's got that, a 911 turbo he tracks, and an 07 silverstone m5 as a "daily driver"...must be tough. Oh, and he's not too much older than me really. That's the thing about these guys...I guess ti goes without saying that when you won a ferrari or other supercar, you are makin' the bucks but dang...money isn't everything, but it's good to see these guys really enjoying their cars, putting a few miles on them, etc. And they are more than just image to them I would say. Also, loved that smart car...it had an AMG license plate frame....just for the heck of it.

And thanks for the words on the exhaust...in all honesty, in person it looks great to me but definitely not for everyone. I am a pertty conservative guy, but I find I LOVE the sound, the added power/mpgs, and the glorious noise I make under bridges and overpasses. But you are correct in that it's just about as big as I would ever want to go.
