Matts 850 GLT
All FWD Volvos have the following bleeding sequenceLF RF LR RRIts been two years and 30,000 miles since my brakes were last bled. The pedal is spongy and I want replace b/fluid and firm up the pedal.I will use a pressure bleeder and Dot 4 - unless anyone has a better recommendation.Bay 13 recommend front wheels first then rear (so does Volvo's green book) apparently it helps purge the air out through the rear....any opinion??Does anyone know what size spanner on the caliper bleed screw? Also there are two bleed screws on the rear do I use both?ThanksMatt

I think you need to do both rears, order doesn't matter though. I'm not sure when you mean by spanner, but the fronts needed a 11 mm wrench, rears need a 9mm wrench.
