Oreo931
Depends on how high the AITs really are. But the majority of your retard A/F issue stems from you DPBut the size of the downpipe has nothing to do with whether or not I am using a heatshield .I'm going to stop arguing now though, because I know I'm just going to get pwned

mune237
Didn't mean to start anything, but it's become an interesting topicSo....has anyone actually measured underhood temps with and without shield in place? It would be interesting, cause going by looks, those funky OE shields look like a waste of $

More relevant may be turbo inlet temps but I do not monitors those on the 850.

'98BRICK
I think we've reached the conclusion:If they don't make the turbo (much) louder and they don't weigh too much and you have one sitting around...put it back on.If not, buy one cheap....P.S. Look near the beginning of the thread. (http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showtopic=100114&view=findpost&p=1340276)
Auburn T5
Eh, if you can afford it, I'd say get a turbo wrap...and even wrap the DP with header wrap as well.
