lookforjoe Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 I have to amend my original findings - I had a large split in one hose that was limiting overall boost - with that corrected (all new Stylin'Motors hoses) I did a side-by side comparison of the Volvo TCV & the AC Delco...Just testing the first three gears, since I don't want anymore tickets...Volvo TCV (IPD T5M + remap)...1st: 6psi @ 55002nd: 15psi @ 55003rd: 15psi @ 5500Delco TCV...1st: 12psi @ 55002nd: 17psi @ 55003rd: 16psi @5500in the upper 3 remaining gears, boost comes on earlier & stronger than the stock TCV: For example, I get 21psi in 5th @ 3K :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

volvo g Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 Just to throw the info around out here on this topic: When installing the gm boost control solenoid with a megasquirt the ecu triggers the ground side. So hookup the hot side constant (with an inline fuse) and then the negative side goes to the corresponding pin on MS...S2 on my relay board.can you tell me where the wires go on the gm solenoid? volvo ones are colored. the stock tcv is diffrent physically. any pics would be great, thanks.
