turbowagoneer855
as a result of running over the badges with the polisher I managed to remove the chrome finish but I think it actually looks better with black badges...I fully agree! and very noice machines you've got there! sconeman
Cheers for the positive comments so far guy's although I do think the Gul 850's are the holiest of holly grails lol....Hey what's this polish you used...never heard of it but you did a hell of a job with it, the paint looks pristine. Why is that? Is it because the US speedo's only go up to 140 mph? With reference to previous comments I have just looked at some pictures of US steering wheels your right about the airbag/horn push on the steering wheels the US ones are a strange larger looking thing. Can't understand why they would change them for the US market... they don't like us : (
'98BRICK
Did you pressure wash the engine? Take parts off? At the moment, mine looks more like the first engine pic from some midwest winters...

AndysR
i would like to see the bolster where it was worn the most, not really any good angles in the pics thanks I have had the cover replaced not repaired, unfortunately the only picture I have of the old cover is the one I posted... Hey what's this polish you used...never heard of it but you did a hell of a job with it, the paint looks pristine.they don't like us : (The polish I used was Menzerna RD3.02 then it was sealed with Poorboy's EX-P sealant and waxed several times with Poorboy's Natty's Paste wax blue. Before the I attacked it with the PC and the Menzerna I clayed it using Meguiars detailing clay. Did you pressure wash the engine? Take parts off? At the moment, mine looks more like the first engine pic from some midwest winters...No the engine wasn't pressure washed I did hose it down with a conventional garden hose after using an engine de-greaser but its mainly been cleaned up with Autoglym super resin polish and brake/carb cleaner. awesome cars!!are both of them auto(cant really tell)Yes they are both auto at this time but for how long thats another question as eventually the auto will hinder future power increases.....

Thanks for the tip.I've clayed and waxed my car a couple of times now and It's pretty good but it looks like the next step is the polish and sealant. : )
