It happened after a rehearsal for a play. Me and my best friend were bumping the tunes and I was like F it! Lets ghost ride this biatch! Only thing I forgot was to put it in Neutral, I stepped out and the car kept going faster. It was kind of like when butthead throws beavis out of the car and tells him to just run really fast. Both feet hit the ground and it was like instant backflips followed by me getting up and trying to run to catch up to the car. Total comedy. My friend was still listening to music in the car and when he turned to check on me he noticed i was planted on the floor 2 car lengths behind. He was smart enough to pull the e brake before anything stupid happened, lol. Pretty embarrassing, especially when all of the girls in the play were coming out to walk home.

This was all followed by a successful attempt about 5 minutes later. I had to redeem myself B) :arob:

ghost riding is so stupid but so fun  i haven't had any mishaps yet although i did get a little too close to a brick wall one time. this kid i know who drives a newer s40 put a nice big dent in his hood though trying to stand on it

Bought an automatic car

if there had been a t5m and my car sitting next to each other at the lot for the same price, actually the manual could have been cheaper, i still would have chosen the auto. i really didn't want a manual but now i'm pissed i didn't.

drove a 1987 volvo 240 dl with 260000 miles on it really hard and a matter of weeks later, thew a rod.

couldn't get my old rotor button off of my 850, so decided to hit it with a hammer to see if it wouldn't jog itself loose. needless to say, it didn't.

i was in the school parking lot leavin for the day .. the car in front of me is full of ghetto kids in ther honda civic (with acura rims+ little caps that say acura) and they stop just in front of me and sit for about 5 mins so i throw the car in reverse .. stupidly not lookin my friends just backin out of his spot on the drivers side of my car.. i but a dent about 5" wide and 1" deep into his passenger side door.. needless to say i always look before i put it in reverse instead of just guessin. costed me 800$ in repair from a freind to do the work on his car

Hmm...Let's see. Installed transmission in car before realizing the torque converter was on the workbench; installed oil filter on car while old gaket was still stuck to the block, and could'nt figure out why the oil was leaking; and, probably putting a wheel on, tighening the lugs by hand, and forgetting to tighten them before driving.

When changing my timing belt 1.5 months ago, I put my hood up completely up, with about 2 inches of clearance between the ceiling and the hood. Then I proceeded to jack up the car to remove the passenger-side wheel. Put a 1 ft long crease in my hood virtually destroying it. $50 for a used hood from a junk yard (damn near perfect condition), and $500ish to get it repainted (with blending of the fenders). Car is in the shop right now, getting it back tomorrow.

Luckily the t-belt job went fine.

Been there, done that. Scary thing to do.. you hear it wobbling all of a sudden.
