Volvoson
It's cool. There was only $17k worth of damage. I think that I've done more damage than that to all of the cars I've crashed combined :arob:
Dan A
Broke off two waterpump bolts in the block (not Volvo) by over torquing. Specs said 35 in/lbs and I was doing 35 ft/lbs. Took the second bolt for me to realize what I was doing wrong.

RBoy8
When I first got my red wagon I just finished working on it and took it out for a test drive. While driving I heard this wobble noise and thought "wtf???".... after a few minutes it dawned on me and in my head I thought "oh SHT I forgot to tighten the wheel bolts" lol, so I slowly drove home.... luckily I wasn't out of my neighborhood yet heh. With my MkIII Golf, one time I was backing into my garage but didn't realize I was too far to the right. I scrapped the -ish out of the passenger side of my rear bumper on the frame of our garage.I've also forgotten to close my windows fully a couple times when I decided to wash the cars lol. General Disarray
The GLT, forgot to tighten the wheel bolts one time. I forget why I took them off, but then I had to go to work and forgot to torque them because they were only hand tight. I made it halfway there and had to call someone from work to bring a jack and some tools. Luckily they didn't fall off, but the drivers front was almost off. used to spin the tires in the rain, resulting in a $2000 transmission bill. Jumped it multiple times on the railroad tracks close to the high school, you should have seen the look on the faces of the people coming the other way the one time, because I was airborne right when they were next to me. They probably saw change flying and my mountain dew in the air, and three kids grinning from ear to ear.Slid around in the field and gravel parking lot behind my friends house, jamming out to some music with some friends and I noticed a very loud noise, looked under the car, and my exhaust finally rotted off the header. So I used an electrical cord to hold it up for the next couple weeks until the new header came in, I had so much fun beating on it while it was that loud though, and I had some little kid tell me to get that piece of shit off the road. Cardboard body kit with an uber large wing, that stayed on at 75mph, raced my friend through some back roads and got brake fade and almost slammed into her at the stop sign. There's so much more that I can't remember with that car, but the final blow was when I had the donut on my right front, and I realized how much smoke a spare could make with almost no effort, needless to say the trans didn't like that and it snapped open, it had 199,894 miled on it, so I figured it was time to let go.Turboput a boost controller on it backwards at first, we realized something was wrong when it wouldn't adjust and the car kept spinning 1st, 2nd, and part of third gear until I let off, then fixed it and ran 15 psi with a 17-18psi spike. Did lots of burnouts and some stupid stuff, that resulted in a new transmission, topped it out coming home from Lancaster one night cause I got in a big fight with the ex and didn't really care about anything. Boost went up to some unknown amount and then it was headgasket, rebuilt turbo, and rebuilt transmission time, it took me about a year to get it running right and get everything fixed. Go big or go home right. Nissansome snow fun in a parking lot, and a big street on the way to work. Couple smoke shows, considering puttin in the welded diff I have in the basement to help blow up the auto.
