It had a turbo upgrade, race tranny with clutch, tune bla bla bla and xyz, it was fast. I thought it would be cool to go around a corner like 500 miles per hour. I have no clue how fast really because his speedo didn't work with the transmission he had. I just know it was a 95 degree turn and I was at 4500 RPM in 3rd gear. I ended up on a huge bush in the front yard of house. I was used to driving this Supra and it really slowed down on a downshift. Anyway, some lady was getting up for work and looked out her window to see me there on a bush in her front yard, wheels spinning in the air. It took a few guys to get it off the bush. I had a friend drive the car back to my buddies house. I was shaken up bad.I could have killed someone or myself. That is one of the many reasons why I am so against these types of activites now. I have seen too many deaths and people going to jail.The car needed some body work on the bottom lip, other than that, it was fine. Naa...the little girl melts my heart...I picked up a new door at the junk yard that day at lunch and was on the road again the next day, same paint color but different interior...and that damn door still doesn't close properly . supra_stephe Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 I had a VW with a 1.8 non-cis motor, and I got the timeing 180 degrees out of phase. then drove it! it was just really slow cuse it was only firing on two cilinders. it was not a big deal.
