I've been considering this.should lemme see if i can find a picture of when i sold a clusteredit looks the same heres a pic of an s70 cluster so the 4 black ones are the red X's from the original the two green at the top are the turn signals, and it looks like the lower 3 in a triangle is the trip computer and odometer you may have the same problem with the trip computer as he did
Saleen9090
From this picture it appears you have 4 194 bulbs and 2 neo-wedge for the turn signals. If you feel like replacing your Indicator lights (Check engine, etc.) they are the same bulbs as for the turn signals.
Saleen9090
Would you guys like me to get this pinned. I could drop the pictures of my car, add some more procedure steps, and possibly have it done by early next week. I am a college student so I am short on time. But if you think this is good, I could make it more detailed. I wanted to wait to upgrade it till I saw some comments. Pinned or no pinned? Pinned or no pinned?sure leave the picture of the car or make a seperate show room thread about your car, more steps are always helpful then just pm the mod of this section IIRC exexpat, and polietly ask it be pinned its well worth it IMO
Getspooled
This post rocks! I've been putting off replacing my burnt out bulbs with LEDs because of lack of good info. This way I can order the bulbs before I take out my cluster and then have to drive around for a week with no speedo waiting on them to be shipped! :D
'93 Dave
It is a little tricky. And actually involves some soldering, not just plugging bulbs in. I think there's instructions on here somewhere.http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?s...5&hl=na850*

RoL-E
resistors vary to what color you want but youll deff have to use them , they have worked perfectly so far, but with shipping to canada life expectancy is down to couple days ...... did you have difficulty finding space to place resistor with LED? hows that work because on the other thread mentioned for the window switch buttons it shows the resistor next to the LED and i guess there was enough space to put the button switch cap back on. but on the instrument gauge cluster was that a problem you encountered? where did you place the resistors? thanks in advance for any info . im guessing you need a 1:1 ratio resistor:LED?
