Yeah should be good if it works out, but first I have to replace the radiator that decided to pop yesterday on my way to dyno the car, so wheel refurb is on hold raised the car 30mm so I can fit on the dyno and this is how she repays me b1tch
Ol' Dirty Noodle
So I need new tires desperately and don't have the $ to get wheels before Carlisle so I need new tires for the Craters(stock BBS 16x7s) Currently have Falken Ziexs 205/50/16 I believe, was wondering what I could run that is slightly smaller without looking stretched or unfittingly small? Kraske
A 195 will look a little stretched but not so much that it looks like you did it on purpose. I would shoot for a set of 205/45R16 or 205/40R16. They should look square on a 7" wide wheel and they will have a smaller diameter like you wanted. Remember that a smaller sidewall with throw off your speedometer.
Timbo Slice
Just a heads up, I ran 215/40/17s on my TDR 1.2s on the S40. No rub whatsoever and they looked awesome.

Thanks dude, I think the manual swap is gonna throw the speedo off a bit anyway lol
zpd
At least craters are 7" wide. Galactica's are 6.5". 215/50/16's were originally supplied with the 2004's. You can go 215/45/16's (eg. RT615's) if you can find them (40's might be more scarce).
PoLonY
I used to run 205/45R16's just to give you an idea:
