blown_volvo850r
Ok so I talked to my dad about the $200 rebate and I will prolly be getting Pegs before the year's end...so it's 18x8" w/ 225/40R18, probably a Toyo Proxy T1-S. I'll use my 17x7" G-Racing Kobes for winter tires, maybe get the Pirelli Snowsport for them. They're silver, I paint them gunmetal except for the outer rim. But back to the topic, it's either silver or titanium grey...if anyone has pics of either, please post them. I like the Titan look of the titaniums, but the bling of the silvers.~Lee

blown_volvo850r
Yeah but they aren't as shiny as the 2003 and back wheels...they still gonna look good? One thing I look for on wheels is seeing thru them when in motion...that always looks clean IMHO. The darker wheels would be easier to see thru them.~Lee

Skaris
Go for titanium But consider the dimension on the tires again, 225/35-18 or 215/35-18 will fit an 850 much better ;)

The only problem is finding the T1-S in 225/35/18. This does not seem to be a very common tire size (as I came to find out after one of my tires got a screw stuck in it and needs to be replaced now). I'm running T-1S 225/35/18 on 8" wide BBS wheels with no rubbing issues whatsoever ('96 850R, stock suspension). I thought some people had run 225/40/18 with only minor rubbing issues at full lock...can anyone confirm this? Wouldn't the extra rim protection from the thicker sidewall be worth it?BTW...great choice in the T1-S...super sticky and I cannot for the life of me get these tires to spin unless I launch at 3k RPM or higher! Volvoson
"Graphite" Pegs on a Red 850R. Looks awesome! I am for the bright silver myself, but that's only my opinion.
exexpat
I think red cars are the only ones that can pull off gloss black well. Yellow cars cry for the graphite color finish. I'd do gloss black with 215/40's IMO. Just make sure the person doesn't paint the wheels with the tires mounted and fails to mask the tires whilst priming. ;)
