Nw Mini Meet - Dec 28th

Mossback

Shoot! sorry I missed you, I was in a few meetings but nothing earth shattering. In the future don't ever hesitate to have them page the building for me, any excuse to get out of a meeting!

I'll just have to figure out another reason to take a 14 hour drive. Preferably dry and warm weather. I must say that this thing turns into a monster when it's sucking on 40 degree air!

Only if the weather is good! My fresh paint job took a major hit from what you guys drop on the roads to control snow and ice. I now have more paint chips than I care to count. I might have to go for that R bumper now that this one looks like total crap.

I have nothing against Portland, just never dealt with that kind of road bombardment. I'm sure if you paid $4K a month ago to paint your car, that you'd view the experience distasteful also.

I completely agree with you! I only meant it as an expression of my extreme distaste for canada's policy on handling the elements. I would gladly buy studded tires to avoid the yearly salt bath and sand blasting that the government of ontario readily administers to every car.

No disrespect, but I couldn't live in that environment! I’m starting to understand why so many of you have a ‘stable’ of cars so to speak. I don’t think I could live with myself if I subjected my ride to an entire winter of that abuse. I wish I could figure out how to post pic’s right into the thread, I keep having size issues. I’d like to show you the before and after trip condition. It’ll almost make you cry.

That's why the clear-bra business is so good in Portland. You won't see a Porsche or Bimmer woithout one. (or my bumper)

true, theres alot of little rocks that get thrown up on the highways due to the "anti hydroplane" road surfaces around here. I'd still take it over the canadian salt bath though, its amazing how efficient salt is at ruining a car

Maybe i should just move to cali sometime
