not really accusations just stupid generalizations and arguments. you really think someone smoking pot at a party is worse than someone driving around drunk?

the question is what's worse, someone drinking beer at a party and not doing anything or someone smoking pot at a party and not doing anything. neither is worse until you start throwing in variables like who wants to fight, who wants to drive under the influence whether drunk or high, because they have munchies and want fast food. and for your age they are both illegal so really you're not hurting anyone by doing either as long as you don't do something stupid and the crime is the same pretty much.

plus, once i became 21 it was easier to get alcohol than weed. it's funny how it's the opposite when you're underage.

Where did I say that it is acceptable about driving around drunk? You don't go to jail if you are drinking at a party, but you got a good chance with pot. alright.

they are both harmless (except for health effects etc.) until they turn into things like DUI

speaking of DUI, my friend got rear ended on 66 on Saturday night, he was driving 60mph on right lane when some Jeep slammed into him by doing at least 80mph. They pulled over, my friend car was pretty fked up, a guy on Jeep stopped, sad sorry and then just took off, my friend wrote down a license plate and called state police. Guy got arrested, blew alcohol in a limit, but was intoxicated that according to police he could barely walk. I wonder why?

Criminal charges are ridiculous. How do they know there was anything in the damn piece? <_<

Phelps pretty much admitted he was smoking trees...his fault, he should have expected that he'd be made an example of and not just forgiven because he admitted guilt. His dumbass ego got to his head.

This thread is AWESOME!!!!!

You can argue all day from either side of the discussion and still make valid and legitimate points on either side of the fence.

ALL drugs (alcohol included) effect each person differently no matter what the substance. That is why doctor's are not batting 1000% in patient treatment and sometimes drugs work miracles for some infected people while the same drug might as well be a placebo for another patient.

It boils down to this "different strokes for different folks"

But just to make a generalized statement to add fuel, I thought more of us "Volvo driving hippies" would be pro- herb. :P

I know plenty of people who wouldn't smoke pot if they got paid for it, and I know plenty of people that would have serious anxiety, and muscle tension/ pain if they didn't have their MJ prescription (thank you California hippies in office).
