Ah ha good sir. I was meaning to talk to you about this particular item. Did you tap a second bolt hole (don't say it) or is a bolt hole there? Did you shave the underside of the tray? I made an attempt at this and would like to fix it.

Are you making it to Carlisle this year?

and wonder how rough the XR is right now? :o

No, holes are all present. Just make a 'tongue' to extend from the rearward bolt into the channel of the tray as pictured. Much material has to be shaved from the underside, you want the tray to set as level as you can get it. The last thing, is that there is a 700/200 auto brake pedal pad stuffed under the front fender side of the tray to level it & prevent the tray flexing there.

Definitely gonna be @ Carlisle, got my pass & Travelodge room is reserved for my son & I.

Not sure what you mean by 'how rough the XR is right now?". It's all good, except that the tune needs tweaking more for the extra CFM's.

TT COP will be installed during the week, I need to modify his harnesses to fit the modules the way I want them - inside the ECU box & out of sight.

I'd like to have the KU SM flywheel done before then, but I'm sure it's gonna have to wait 'til the summer, if not even later in the year.

Seemed like it needed a fair amount of things done judging by the parts you had laid out. Good to hear you are making the show.

Oh - I see. :D That was just the visual list of parts needed for the late model head swap.

How many times have you pulled the engine out? Your car is insane by the way...love it.

My real question is from several pages back...where did you get the heat elements for the rear seats?

Engine was only removed once - two + years ago when I put in the built motor. Apart from that, this is the first time in 25K+ miles the head has been removed from the block.

The heater elements came from an eBay seller, they have kits in different sizes. I'll take a look through my older receipts & try & figure out who/where it was.

EDIT: My Heater Install Thread has all the info you need to search for the pads..

They look good! Not a whole lot different then the pegs  \

Did you do a weight comparison?

2lbs lighter, wheel w/tire. No, not much visual difference, and between spline lugs, spacers & hub adaptors, a bit of a PITA. But, they are coated black & the red is recessed in the lip, so I won't be scratching it.

Your wagon is still changing rapidly!

Do you think that Magnaflow decal will be destroyed by the heat? That's a pretty neat location for it.

Thanks. :D

Yeah, it will burn off. It's already flaking after couple hundred miles.

LGSpeed Header & getting the KU SM flywheel will be the next mods, unless nathaninwa can get my intake manifold done before the end of the summer
