nocturnal7x Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 BTW, who did the paint job on your wagon? and how much was it if you don't mind me asking. Looks great. Im gonna try to get my car detailed, but it may be too far gone for me to be pleased with the results. thanks! Quote
lookforjoe Posted June 24, 2009 Author Report Posted June 24, 2009 Bought some HTS-2000 rod to braise my intercooler plumbing - got rid of all the intermediate couplings in the system... now there's one @ the compressor, two for the intercooler, and two for the throttle/intake elbow used the end from the stock piping for the compressor outlet connection... nowhere near as neat as BlackT5's welds, but it's strong. cleaned up the outside.. Painted black.... Redid inlet elbow, 2.75" to 2.25" for intercooler plumbing braised ports for IAC & BOV redid intake pipe, no more odd Volvo grommet, used firewall grommet instead braised aluminum port for BOV BTW, who did the paint job on your wagon? and how much was it if you don't mind me asking. Looks great. Im gonna try to get my car detailed, but it may be too far gone for me to be pleased with the results. thanks! vinny a Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Wow that car looks absolutely incredible. I love the color matched trim on the body as well. All the mechanical stuff you did blows my mind as well but is inspiring to try something like that at the same time. Quote
