How often do you go offroading? Because if you don't, there is no reason to buy an SUV.....I would be ashamed to drive one on the road. No reason to have a daily that is that heavy! Why pay 30k for something that can't even do 0 to 60 in 9.5 seconds! And uses as much gas as something that does 0-60 in 3

Yeah, yeah, yeah, no SUV this, no SUV that.

What does 0-60 in 3 seconds and gets ~19MPG?

And the Pacifica is definitely an On-Road SUV. I would like it because I can fit 6 friends + myself in the car, or myself, my girlfriend, and her 5 little cousins who we take on trips sometimes. I am into film making, and I could fit an average sized cast in the car for on-site filming - no more need to take two cars. That alone justifies the gas mileage. Besides, my T-5R gets worse gas mileage than the Pacifica and I have to pay for premium.

Also, it has AWD so it's sufficient for winter (and I actually drive in the snow just as much as do when it's not snowing) and wet weather use for sure, and I really don't need to get to 60 very fast anyway living where I do - there is plenty of on ramp space, the T-5R can be going at least 50 coming off any given ramp and on the longest ramp I've found it can get up to 95mph before hitting the merge. I'm sure the Pacifica will be able to get to about 65 by the time the Volvo hits 95, and my Jeep last year was even slower.

It's also very safe compared to the average car because of its size and weight. I also do some moving every year at work - moving things like pool tables from the classrooms over to our storage building, it would make that easier.

Besides, this isn't really an SUV - the Pacifica is a cross between an AWD Wagon/SUV cross over and a minivan, it's certainly no true SUV.

I rented one for about a week while I was up in Wisconsin and that thing is nice, it was fully loaded too, drove nice, pretty good in the snow with 4 WD, etc. engine was pretty strong and smooth !!! Had the GPS system. Infact it has one of the best and easiest to use GPS system I have ever used, it was really smart of them to put the GPS screen in the instrument cluster. I would say go for it !!! :)

It's a Chrysler minivan still. Go ahead buy it. You can always trust the historical reliability of Chrysler's products, especially their minivans.

Buhahahah... motorcycle w/a door... that's awesome!
