Looks like I will be by on either Friday or Sat. for the map pocket but I will call ahead to confirm.Marty
tsuehpsyde
Holy crap. That's intense.I don't post around here much, but I saw your videos and I must say, you have one of the nicest cars on this forum (in my opinion). Most everything you've done was done up proper, and with such a cool car (AWD 6-speed wagon...ballin'!). Really sad to see such a quality setup dominate your leg bits. I guess it was just hungry. Get better soon. Try to make the best of it. Relax, watching some TV, do some online research or just plain veg out for a bit. Hope it works out, man. prasamin
I was showing off my remote start to Jason and Paul a couple of years ago, and the car was reversed into a parking spot right in front of some furniture store with large towering glass windows.Long story short, didn't realize I had left it in reverse, hit the remote start, and the car jumped the curb and headed straight for the store. Luckily, I was showing off the inside first, and had left the front door open. I had time to jump in and get it out of gear, but not before it jumped over one of those parking stop cement blocks and slammed onto the exhaust lol. Really lucky there.I immediately disconnected the remote start wire from the coil and have left it like that for the last couple of years.Crazy thing is that my car doesn't have door handles, so if the door would have been closed....i would have been in way deep shit!Man, the fracture is complete. That's pretty bad. Good luck with recovery, but I'll warn you that you will never walk the same again.

Poor cat couldn't understand why I was screaming at him! Anyway, after that the local pain when I stand shot through the roof, so they're gonna take a look see. I have different pain meds - Darvocet, and these work just fine. Still can feel the pain, but at least it's manageable.

lookforjoe
Damit thats a oh yeah!...Well ya know that car has to go. Same as if your pet bites you. You will never feel the same about it. Nor trust it again. My wife feels that way - she calls the car CHRISTINE I don't. It's not the machinery's fault - it's all operator error.Fortunately NY has no-fault, so my insurance will cover most of it, and since it happened at work, workman's comp will hopefully pick up the difference, anyway, that how it appears right now. I'm gonna be out of work probably till the end of the school year.
EVL WAGN
Sucks dude!!! Sorry to hear it bro. Hope you can still make it to Carlisle...even if it's without the ride.To all those that want a remote start with manual...buy the proper unit. They actually have dedicated manual trans remote starts now...in fact they've had them for quite awhile now. I used to run a car audio/perf. shop and the stories we'd hear from people were crazy. One guy's wife started it in the garage and promptly drove through the garage door, which in turn destroyed his car too on the other side of the door. Double whammy!!!Hope you get better fast my brother!!!

Cal3thousand
I thought I was clicking into this thread to see some nice mod I was going to be jealous of. Boy, was I wrong. Good thing it was a fairly clean break and nothing disintegrated.Take care of yourself man. Hope you get better soon.
PharmD
that's exactly what pain meds DO. A good addict would take two more and wash them down with a heineken. And wait for the respiratory depression to set in? An opiate naive patient would succumb to such a dose
64pvolvo1800
And wait for the respiratory depression to set in? An opiate naive patient would succumb to such a dose exactly my point. A good addict would pay big money for those results. Not meant to be a rolling endorsement by any means. Just know from experience that those type of results DO happen and it never ends well. Glad Hussein has enough insight and wherewithall to avoid it.
