House Bill 277No I am not a pot head but I do realize the medical use and purpose.If your a mod and want to close this could you at least PM me before hand?Anyone wanting to trash this thread beware. Rec use of marijuana is not legal here or anywhere else in the USA. I do not condone the recreational use at all!! This bill would help a lot of people I know and that are close to me. My grandpa is 89 years old and is suffering from a condition that causes vein constriction in the limbs. He is literally rotting from his feet up and there is nothing that can stop the process or kill the pain. My dad, 70, broke his back, shattered verts and crushed disk. 8 operations later he can walk with a great deal of pain. The depression and anxoty is worse than the pain.My mom, 65, needs a hip replacement but cannot have one because of a sever in-operatable blood clot in her thigh. Medical use of marijuana will not cure any of these problems but will help the mind forget the pain and suffering. I myself dont have a need for it. It was fun back in the day when I was a kid. The use of a plant for medical purpose is all together different. Wonder if you called your grandparents or great-grandparents hippies back in the 30's when alcohol was illegal?
