so what happens when the OP gets his FPR?

We either wait for Mike to show that he can do good, reliable customer service without significant and unexpected delays, or a repeat of the same situation. Pretty cut and dry if you ask me :huh:

Agreed

Great customer service comes from fixing the mistakes you make.

You can screw up anything but if you fix it correctly thats all anyone remebers.

Now if you screw up and dont do anything about it , that is all anyone thinks about

a month after he ordered it, without any communication in between...yeah, that solves the problem automatically...i'm sure everyone wants to order from him now that he got his FPR without any communication and three weeks or a month later....shit, he hasn't received it yet.

Update: got an email back from him. apparently his old man has been really sick and he has been over in Europe tending to family needs. Understandable but IMO should have had some way of maintaining communications with customers or put some type of message on his answering machine indicating the shop would be out of comission for extended time.

anyways, said the FPR will be in the mail today so hopefully I'll have it and "a surprise" next week. I wouldn't complain if it's a BSR ECU he tossed in with it... hahah :wub:

Glad to hear it worked out, sometimes this stuff happens, people do have emergencies and sometimes even big businesses have rough times. I have had good experiences with Mike and am relieved to hear this wasn't a big deal.

he gains some crediablty back but not much since it took so long.

Its very hard to gain crediablity but its very easy to lose it .

Spot on Justin. I ordered from one company in the states and they send me LHD mats when they knew my car was RHD and i gave them the VIN also. then after sending them there answer was we only sell LHD mats. GHEY. So i thought fuck them and no more business, IPD honestly has the best customer service and I have never ordered from EST but Frank has always been quik with responses to emails.

Pool all you money together and just make a hit list of all the people you need hurt, beaten or crippled from robbing people on this forum.

The economy tight right now..who knows maybe DOG the bounty hunter might be available :lol: :lol: :lol:

If someone robbed me for a $1k-2k like the posts about the dude from VMS...or whatever company it was..I would have round trip tickets to ass kicking land within the week.

FUUUKKKK...I just realized I hit level two...

In all honesty, I have nothing against anyone here....

But, skepticism is the best way to approach things....and this time, it has paid off....

For the customer's sake, I hope Vector has actually sent the item ordered, but other than that, rules are rules.

Vector needs a vendor tag, which has been dodged over and over.

Dave, I like ribbing you, and you do the same back, but no hard feelings......you have to be skeptical when buying things sight unseen and on the internet from a guy who has nothing to show for his business....except paragraphs on a Volvo forum.
