Mike must have a lot of faith in the build strength of this thing because there was ZERO packing material in here. Auburn T5 Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 Good stuff will be you talking to your boy mike and trying to explain to him how he needs to take a serious look at his business practices and realize that WE are the boss of his business and should be treated as such. As I said a couple of times in the thread, I'm all for giving someone the benefit of the doubt and I'm glad this thing actually showed up at all but until I see someone ELSE get proper prompt service the way one typically would from IPD or EST or FCP groton, I'll do business elsewhere... especially considering the only other products of his I would be interested in is a PPC tuner for my wife's 99 T5. Auburn T5 Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 I could have gotten it from other online vendors for cheaper/quicker but he's actually been quite helpful via email conversations and after all the help, I felt somewhat obligated to buy from him. Call me crazy but that's just how my brain works. Kinda you scratch my back, I scratch yours thing... Meanwhile, I can't find any instructions on how to install this new FPR. It's ten times the size of the stock one. Mike says it goes on the fuel rail between two of the injectors (at least I THINK that's the stock FPR) but that thing's minuscule in comparison to this new one. Any guides on how this is done? Cannot beat the price he's offering it at. I had ordered it on 6/24/09. Was told by Mike it shipped out from Sweden on 6/29/09 and to expect it in 7-10 business days.
