Video is fine.

Define "built motor".

He didn't look like he was racing. :)

Well im not too familiar with his car, just rattling off the list of mods he has, ben (bmac) knows the kid (lives in connecticut) and said that one night in the snow they were drifting their FWD cars :) and the TB snapped, so the motor was rebuilt with aftermarket rods and pistons, not sure about valves etc, i just know that it has rods/pistons cams etc.

Yea for the mods i was really suprised that the car wasn't quicker than it was, he is still on the stock td04 15g, but the difference between a 15G and 16t isn't that much, even though i have an 18G wheel stuffed inside my 16t

EDIT: i know it doesn't look like he's moving but i'm sure you know about our 5-speeds and that was a 3rd gear pull from 50- the top of 3rd where you can hear the BOV and the top of 3rd is pretty high i'm sure you know george at 6500rpms

lol here we go again.

not at all erik, just thought i'd share some new stuff with the racing forum, no fighting or "i have a bigger dick than you" conversations, just thought the Racing forum could use a little action.

Did you get a new car? I thought you used to own an s70

I believe that is what he meant.

Oh i'm sorry i misunderstood.

R-sport H-beam connecting rods, matched to wiseco pistons

No real room to bore it over much so that was left alone, was also going to extrude mani and head, but extruding was very expensive and yielded only small gains

Did you install the rods and pistons?

No i did not, i wouldn't trust myself doing a major job like that on my daily driver at the time when i needed my car everyday, i've seen too many people forget small things that lead to alot of downtime, such as piston rings being installed wrong etc. A shop did the work in NY, all the machining and installation for 1100

Do you know if he is just running the base tuned map off the turbotuner, or has he done anything with it? With a built motor, why does he still have the stock turbo?

Exactly. Stronger internals don't give you more power. If he has TT, he hasn't really done anything with it. Most likely waiting on a turbo upgrade.

So, he is basically stock.

Real racing never gets posted here, just this stuff.

looks like your car would give a good run vs the stock Bullitt that beats up on these Volvos (Ben) :P:lol:

looks like the 18G did some help, but where did you get that done ?

15G @ 18 psi vs 18G @ 19 psi is a big difference. . . anything else done to the turbo besides the 18G wheel ? clipping, porting ? anything ?
