I think it used to be $$, i.e. 5-10 years ago, anything FWD Volvo was mucho dollars, and anything rear wheel drive was cheap, so maybe people felt ill will towards the "wealthier"...I dunno...that couple with the fact that a vast majority of threads in here are to do with the "bling" factor vs "do it yourself with zap straps power" factor...not that I think there is anything wrong with that as I've done that road and the bling road...whatever it is, it's completely unfounded and silly...
