Hellas850 T-5
I've tested the replicas pegasus with normal 996 front calipers and they fit. But with very little clearance. They have little clearance but they are ok I think, the normal 996 calipers are these that many shops sell for us as a kit or is it something else? Dolf
I have made the kit myself. Combined 996 callipers with S60R rotors and homemade brackets. The kits that are being sold are for 993 TT calipers. Mayby the brackets will fit, I do not know...

RussianR
Hi. Just bought Big Blacks(928-351-423-03 (left side)-928-351-424-03 (right side), brackets with bolts and brake lines with CJ. Calipers for 395 usd each(he has Big Reds(993-351-425-10 (left side) and 993-351-426-10 (right side) for 495 usd each! He says Big reds an Big Blacks are identical but color. Will use 330 mm S60R rotors. Can anyone suggest any other 17" Rims except IPD Pegasus Replicas with 38 offset with this BBK? Can be used any rims with 5x108, 65.1, 38 offset, 17"-7.5"? Nebula Rep's (IPD) with their BBK. I'm having to use 10mm spacers, which has proven to be a bit of a headache, as they are not hubcentric. So I just ordered a set of 15mm which are hubcentric. A short trip to the shop at work, and I'll turn down the backside to 10mm! problem solved.
RussianR
I have now 5mm spacers from H&R and I had to put them away from the front as the feeling of the steering wheel got worse. I believe using spacers will cause this problem anyway. That is why as I have to buy new rims (my originals are16")I am asking my question. The IPD 17" Pegasus rims have dimensions: 5-108, 65.1,17-7.5,38 offset! If I buy other rims with same dimensions, can I use them without spacers? RussianR
I am waiting for tomorrow! have info that IPD will have Black Pegasus in stock soon( now the website says only in 60 days, but believe it will happen much sooner). If it happens the problem will be solved-I will buy Pegasus( I like them anuway). But if not I will look for other variants as to buy Pegasus replicas in Russia is imposible and originals cost 500 usd each here and will work only with spacers again because of the offset! Chilled man
Simpley YOU CAN NOT USE S60R FRONT CALIPERS ON 850 or C70 V70 S70 CARS The braket spacing is not enought to make brakets Now you can use the rear on the rear of those cars with brakets from CJ. Now S60R calipers are a direct fit front and rear for the P2 cars 01+ You will need the bolts and the spacers brakets for the front the rears are a direct swap minus griding down or removing the rear dust sheild. I installed them on my 01V70XC-M
RussianR
I am using IPD BBK with porcshe calipers!!! All questions about this! I am not going to use R calipers anyway. My car is V70R AWD 1998. Ipd BBK is disigned for such cars as far as I understand.
Mesoam
Here is some research I have put together but just haven't had time or $ to go forward... the 996 n/a calipers utilize a 322mm rotor, s60R rotors will not work the newer gen s40 t5 has available 320mm brakes including rotors the s40 has smaller hubs so the rotor hat will most likely need to be bored out a few mm 850/S/V/C70, S60/R, V70N 65.176mm hub S40N/V50 63.4mm hub being that the rotor is 10mm smaller you will also need to either get a pair of CJ's brackets and add an additional 10mm spacer pushing the caliper farther onto the rotor or have a new set machined with the additional material i'll be interested to see if the n/a calipers combined with the s40 rotor will allow for volan clearance without spacers
