CJones16
I recently Bought a mirror for my S60 off EBay, I paid with paypal, Upon receiving the mirror it was broken, I immediately contacted the seller and sent pictures to him. He was very responsive and Opened a UPS claim, UPS came the next day and picked up the package for a inspection The package has been through inspection and was shipped back to the seller, the Seller received the package yesterday The seller is becoming less responsive as time goes by, My question is, Should I open a paypal claim to protect my money?, I can always close the claim when he pays, and I have already returned the item (he has it now) Thanks Chris Also I have just recieved another mirror and its damaged...lol, I opened the claim with UPS and UPS told me the Seller has to open the claim, But every time I contact the seller they just tell me to open a claim.... What should I do?
TryingBe
Open the claim now, before he moves the money out of his paypal account.
NGB
Open the claim now, before he moves the money out of his paypal account. That doesn't matter, you can still do refunds after the money has been withdrawn.

If the seller decides to take the money and run, there is nothing paypal can do for you if his account has zero in it. Ask me how I lost $200. Agreed, they'll take the money straight from whatever account he has set up with PP, and they will most likely freeze his Ebay account until there is a resolution. ErikS
Depends on the amount of the transaction. They gets thousands of these a day. Prepare to TIITB.
