Guest Guest_Geigomatic_*
She's Gone...But did me well. Being that I'm used to the 850 T-5R + Mods + suspension ...I need suggestions on which newer car will make me as happy or happier. My budget is 10-18K or so.A.G. volflo
get an s3. but make sure you get KWs along with it.the old 2.7 V6 biturbo s4 is also a nice car.or if you want to keep a nice 5 cyl sound. get an s2 Avant or an S2 Coupe.all nice quattros.Or you go the best way and see if cant get hold of a 850R manual. (you get soo many nice little goodies along with it)
fromtheshadows
get a used wrx. at least test drive one. take it from a former rx7 owner, rx7 is in my opinion one of the best sports cars (project) you can buy, but plan on frequent maint. and rebuilds plus overpriced as they are. a wrx has tons of potential, will launch like your t5 never could, and will hold corners with the best exotics out there. lax01
You aren't going to find an Evo that cheap...or an SRT-4...used RX7 would be nice, if you don't mind the rebuildswrx is so blah, I wouldn't buy one850 manual would be nice...but again, it is a 14 second volvogood luck :D

JDELUNA
How about a 2000 S4 ?? Some are getting down in price, and those can be made to be fast !!!! Faster than a stock Corvette Z06 !!! And anyone that says that AWD in the Audi will eventually slow it down, prove it to me :)
fromtheshadows
you will have a hard time even finding a 93+ supra in great shape for that price. any other supra isnt worth it I have a 1992 mk3 supra turbo to sell for 7000 if you want it. worst investment ever. A wrx (not sti) is the cheapest to mod and with the same amount of money you will eat those cars. bmw m3 is a great car in its NA, rwd form and all, but it will still get eaten, id rather have a lexus is300 5spd to slap a turbo on. to say wrx is blah is to have never driven one. go test it. the srt4 will suprise you too, but you can get a used wrx for cheaper right about now. the ünderstüdy
Keep it volvo or at least european. top 3 best bets:1. early to mid-90's urs42. 2000-ish s43. v-70R fo' sho'
ToxicLemonade
you can find an srt-4 for around 15K used with low miles.Lexus is300 5 spd with 50K is about 15-16K, buy the 2500 turbo setup you have a 300-350 hp rwd car that handels well right around your top number of 18k . 98-99 m3 would be nice. good luck with your choice.
