I just checked out an '05 G35 Coupe over the weekend, and I must say the interior is vastly improved over the previous model years. I was very impressed with the all-new center-console and materials used throughout the whole interior for '05. Infinity really listened to the mainstream's comments and improved on the lowest point of the car.

u can forget about getting anything cheap for turbo upgrades on the 05 s40... the exhaust manifold and the turbo housing cast from the same piece of metal...

yeah, saw some older 2004 g35 interior at the dealer. was not quite as impressed. but the g35 track model should be fun.

No brainer: G35.

My only gripe about it is that the interior does look and feel a little cheaper than the C70's, but the positives outweigh the negatives by far.

It's RWD. Enough said.

I agree about the RWD. The stock exhaust sound great, the car looks great. But the C70s interior is much nicer. The G35 feels.. cheap

I think the C70s feel cheap as well, unfortunately. stuff, I think the S80 feels cheap in comparison to the classic Vo's.

Heh, your name should be MoneymanLegend heh maybe part of the "Cash Money Millionaires" Do you rap? hahaha j/k

I'm going to test drive a G35 once exams are over.

At present, the C70 coupe is out of my mind altogether.

I'm going to do one of the following:

a) get another extended aftermarket warranty for 24K miles and $1400 so that my car will be covered until 112K miles

OR

B) When the miles come around during summer, sell my car and get a used G35 (after a nice test drive of course)

I was thinking though, $1400 for a 24K mile is expensive. (17 miles per dollar). My mechanic was suggesting the company he deals with he says "they're cream of the crop" (of course he would say that if he's selling their warranties).

I'm going to find out what company - if you guys have any other suggestions for warranty companies hit me back please. - you are greatly appreciated.

Is it even worth the cost for the warranty to keep the sentimental value of my car for another 2-3 years?

I thought that the last year for COUPE version of C70 was 2002, and last two years(03-04) they were available only in LT and HT convertibles, with either automatic or stick shift. By the way, do they at least have hard tops? I voted for C70, because that is my goal, HT coupe with 5 speed(try to find one). You should get a G35, its a new style, fast, nic car.

yes 2002 is the last coupe year. I listed it wrong and mentioned it in one of the previous posts.

There's a guy - cmdrtask on the forums - selling a 2002 HPT 5 spd coupe. Look in the selling section. I've been talking to him for 3 weeks. He has been very honest and the car has 18K miles on it!!!! Give him a shot if you want it.

stay with the volvos

There are only 4 reasons why I would do that...

#1) loyalty

#2) The guys at the volvo dealership hook me up on the warranty even though some parts I have replaced could be the cause of the problem.

#3) No Infiniti dealerships in Gainesville, only a Nissan dealership

#4) Volvo - for life
