Bay13 Posted March 20, 2004 Report Share Posted March 20, 2004 I've been working with INVISIONBOARD about our site problems and below is some of the information they have gave me.Due to a server related issue it appears that all posts that were on your forums have been lost. We have been looking into the issue extensively, and have come to the unfortunate conclusion, that we will be unable to retrieve any backups from the server. What we will be doing immediately is moving you to a new server with the Redhat Enterprise Edition Operating System.We are terribly sorry that this has occurred. We can guarantee that with this server move, this will never happen again. We will be keeping a close eye during the transfer and setup of the server. As we realize that this is a massive. The new server should arrive within 48 hours at the very most at which point we'll get your forums transfered over. Until then, you may wish to either close your forums, or keep them open with a notice of what's going on. Again, we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and are dedicated to rectifying this issue in a satisfactory way to you.
