mdlimy
that definetly sucks but you are also very very lucky i would also question the quality of the other valves, and with the head out i would replace every one of them with oem valves once and for all. on a good note, once you get that fixed this thing is gonna scream up top, finally im suprised your not using an oem headgasket, thats about the one thing i never buy aftermarket lol. lookforjoe
How does the valve seat look like? Any damage there? You can kinda see the mark on the seat in the pic - he will likely have to regrind the seat. Ordered a new valve guide incase that has to go. Hopefully the corresponding exhaust valve to not damaged. that definetly sucks but you are also very very lucky i would also question the quality of the other valves, and with the head out i would replace every one of them with oem valves once and for all. on a good note, once you get that fixed this thing is gonna scream up top, finally im suprised your not using an oem headgasket, thats about the one thing i never buy aftermarket lol. He's gonna recheck for spring binding - since the lift is greater. He's pretty sure he went through that when the head was setup for the Enem Cams. He said no sign of binding marks on the spring, but he'll double check anyway. I also emailed Enem to confirm that the stock springs are compatible - which was my understanding. The HG is Victor Reinz, never had a problem with them before. EDIT: Jan from Enem confirmed that the stock springs are what they use, running 8500 rpm, with their cams, so definitely not a binding issue. I guess it's just not my month... That was for my old 98 head, but he said he could get them for the new ones as well. Price was very good too.

German brand. He's gonna check the guide, if it needs to be replaced, he will. What about that poor piston? Please don't say it will buff out I just removed the sharp edges, that's it. It hit in the middle, not the outside edge. Progress pics, still have some cleanup to do Hussain just to make you feel better.
