All I did today was rough out the larger IC opening in the spare bumper cover.

on a side note, the fox shock died on my Super-V (it is 15 years old now) - anyone know of a source for shocks that don't cost $200? :(

I may just get on TB and ask him about it. Did he tell you the runner length, diameter and plenum volume? Or give you an estimate for its target RPM band of highest resonance? :D

He's copying mine - I sent it to him, he has no 5cyl motor to work from

haven't seen how he has refined the plenum, it should be cleaner than mine, without the right angle connections, but same overall dimensions

I'm a fan of the "Scandalo " bumper also. What did you use to re-fasten the cut pieces? Fiberglass/Bondo mixture like Gorilla Hair? I've got a scrap XC bumper, I might give it a try....

I just noticed the box in the picture...

I realized that's what it was when Jeff reposted the pic. I didn't even register the Dr Scholl's package.

Did a little work on refining the opening - not sure I'll go much further, since I want it professionally painted, and they won't like whatever primer I use. I used a fine hacksaw blade & bowed it to conform to the opening curve & shaved the high spots, then use d a coarse (foam) sanding block, then spot putty

painted the grille & rechecked fit

cut out opening in bumper bar - just have to weld that section back in (set all the way in) to recreate the box section in the center

Adjusted the RPM scaling again - I was still off on the peak trq/hp settings. Moved the timing numbers a little. lowered the WOT sliders, too. it was too rich @ WOT

Pull in 3rd/4th

Still maxxing out the MAF by 5600, even with the true 3" housing. Maybe I need to go even larger

hitting 74% duty cycle around 6.6K. I'll have to do a 7500 pull & see what the duty rises to. What is optimal range, anyway? EDIT: did a quick search, and it seems 85% is considered the max you would want to see @ peak, so I should be OK.
