B Mac
Holy crap that looks so mean. Give the core a light dusting of black heat exchanger paint as well and make it uber sneaky??

Sneaky....I wouldn't want it to be sneaky...
andyb5
Looks rad, I almost think you could ditch the "grille" in the bottom and just have exposed intercooler. Agreed. That massive IC would look extremely aggressive.
Jardim
Holy agressive is right! Should be calendar material.

That massive IC would look extremely aggressive. Both ways for comparison.....
sjmcarz
I personally like the second photo with the eggcrate and a less chance of something damaging the intercooler.
NJGreenBudd
Second one looks better to me.
Platinum 850
The grille just gives it that look, where it's aggressive yet very well put together...
lookforjoe
I think I need to keep the grille, or it will look too aftermarket. This is the basic opening And this is basically how it will be framed out I'll put the process pics in my thread.
lookforjoe
Boxed out the bumper bar yesterday. Welds are ugly, so no closeups poly filled the mounts Extra torque arm, like Russ's & CJ's Delrin subframe bushing kit the mountain of parts to install is growing.. I stripped a broken 50-42AWD trans yesterday to get this out I wish someone made the locking gearset that would fit in the standard casing. I used to have that in my 745 - can't remember if it was Powr-Loc, Trac-Loc or whatever, but is was just castle-ated gears that locked the diff under load. It made a horrible clanking sound when turning with the diff off-loaded, so it was always better to power through a turn...
B Mac
I wonder if a phantom grip would work in there?
lookforjoe
Dunno - there has to be something... Stripped the AWD auto casing, chopped off the main auto case, to make a dummy for mockup in the bay - I want to get the DP & other things sorted out since I'll be waiting at least another week or more for the pistons, and therefore the engine rebuild... dummy/gutted engine I have a empty Angle Drive, so I'll add that, put it back in the bay & get the exhaust & intercooler piping adjusted as needed
lookforjoe
Installed the gutted motor, fitted the DP, installed the Header & turbo, Angle drive & driveshaft. WG just clears the AC line and ECU duct pipe WG flex coupling is touching the firewall insulation, so that has to be worked on (beaten) BIG Exhaust housing snakes between rack & firewall, under & around the driveshaft
