SKI-R
H - 1. What is on the driver's side front of the intake manifold - black electrical (appearing) fitting that seems to not be plugged in? 2. The copper capillary line between the thermostat/custom brace anchor point is for what? 3. What's the line along the firewall in front of the passenger side with the brass butterfly valve doing? Looks damn tidy, and like most of the others - I'm amazed at your production level! Cheers!!
lookforjoe
H - 1. What is on the driver's side front of the intake manifold - black electrical (appearing) fitting that seems to not be plugged in? MAP sensor for VEMS (can't plug it in until VEMS ECU is installed) 2. The copper capillary line between the thermostat/custom brace anchor point is for what? Vacuum line to FPR 3. What's the line along the firewall in front of the passenger side with the brass butterfly valve doing? For measuring EBP - goes to dual boost gauge & MAP sensor of Innovate LMA Looks damn tidy, and like most of the others - I'm amazed at your production level! Cheers!! lookforjoe
Another (relatively) gentle pull today, 3rd through 6th - AFR's & timing look pretty stable. Got a little throttle-happy in 3rd - I forgot that I had turned the Apexi back on, so it was trying to bring boost level up to 18psi; since I hadn't calibrated it, it didn't get there. 3rd 4th 5th 6th timing map fuel map
lookforjoe
Gettting on it a little harder now - 60-100 is under 6 sec even with moderate accel running off WG pressure (<14psi) - still got a few hundred more city miles to put on the clutch before I wail on it.
laird
I love the way your " gentle" pulls end up at 149 mph!

dublin14
What boost are you aiming for as a high boost tune. Have you started using WMI.
lookforjoe
What boost are you aiming for as a high boost tune. Have you started using WMI. Haven't really thought about that yet. With TT, I doubt I'm going to go over 20psi, if that. Until I can do some WOT runs, I don't know where the MAF limit will end up - right now it's up in the high 6K rpm range, but that's only part throttle. I need to watch inj duty as well. So, I'll keep this map for the base 14psi, see how it goes once I can do some WOT runs, then do a 18psi map & see how that is. I haven't tried adding WI into the mix, although I realized it was also on when I did the 3rd-6th pull on June 5th (), where the Apexi was also cycling @ 30% duty cycle, with a target 18psi boost. dublin14
The car will pull hard at 20psi, but that 6262 it isnt even awake at 20psi When you change to the VEMS- WMI and 25psi thats when you really start having fun. http://www.floridaev...tuning-352.html 750whp at 32psi on a 2.3L . Thats funkin impressive! Im sold on this Turbo. Edited June 7, 2012 by dublin14
lookforjoe
Getting close to install now. resistor packs to eliminate SAS & PTC valves These did not work - they burned up immediately One has to use power resistors to handle the wattage
