o wow heading up to the canadian side eh, which way are you headed up? and only going to quebec?

Montreal, then Quebec. Never been before. Heading up the thruway I-87, stopping in Saratoga Springs first for the Spa.

Increased the fueling in the top three row load cells - I had forgotten that over 6K it uses not only the 100% range - I remembered because the timing values shift to the higher range in the 88-94%rows at that point (e.g. timing @ 6700 in the hard uphill log above was 19.5º, by 7K it's 20º, 2º higher than 100% load requested cell)

reference examples (I'll replace with current later)

Montreal is a beautiful city. I've gone up several times for F-1 weekend and the town is HOPPING! They also have some nice festivals like Bicycle Fest and Fireworks Fest, Jazz Fest... I've gone for the Jazz and Bike Fest, great times....

That's unfortunate as they seem to be our only hope. :glare:

I am working on a solution to be able to bolt on FWD control arms with spherical instead of bushing for AWD cars. Spherical bearings cured the terrible wheel hop I had in the rear of my 240sx.

the wheel hop was actually clutch slip, he fixed it. With a new flywheel.

Car is running well overall. Took a 1000 mile round trip to Montreal & Quebec City.

Still need to re-dyno now that the clutch is settled.

Reworked the CAI piping using 3.25", and smoothed the transitions - got rid of two silicone elbows, and practiced my TIG welding. Functional, not pretty.

H - Jerd essentially stopped doing business a couple of years ago. At least that was my understanding when I was in Sweden. I never got a reason why but I had heard orders were on hold from them at least directly.

Talked with Maciek at the Paramus meet, he had been talking with BMac, who spoke to him about putting a GT500 scoop on a Volvo hood.... there just happened to be a Shelby GT500 at the meet...

so, I touched base with Ben, and ordered two scoops, one for me, and one for him....

scoop will go about here: have to avoid the inner reinforcement panel by the firewall

Windshield washer jets will have to go in the flat section of the scoop.

I'm going back to the AWD Dyno on Monday, to get numbers now I have a working clutch. I'll do base, 18 & 20ish PSI to see what I get. I have to install the 1000cc injectors before I go over that.
