lookforjoe
pics today. Just have to figure out the best location for the washer vents. If I put them in the plastic, they will probably shoot over the roof due to the inclined angle... installed

Aequitas_Veritas
You need to paint it gloss to match the other vents. Other then that looks great!

dougy
yep, it look hot, but i would not put in on above my exhaust/coils/turbo without an option of closing it...unless it is a weekend car.
lookforjoe
Like it very much. Can we see how it looks from underneath. I'll take more pics. yep, it look hot, but i would not put in on above my exhaust/coils/turbo without an option of closing it...unless it is a weekend car. You worry too much. I drive the wagon all seasons with the side vents dumping snow & rain into the engine bay, it doesn't matter. yup! im jusmping on the band wagon i bought mine friday will be here monday or tuesday I'll make you a copy of the template. PM me so we can figure getting it to you. look awesome. what did you use to seal the vent? what you guys think about removing the hood seal. when i remove mine it look like it did a good job of venting the heat. I also have a section of the back seal removed, it does help - this however makes a significant difference - especially when you have headers vs. stock setup You need to paint it gloss to match the other vents. Other then that looks great! Gonna paint the side vents matt/satin black to match everything else Just so you know, I'm probably going to have to copy this... Do it.

lookforjoe
H, You may have really started something here, scoop looks like it belongs. Elegant install as usual. Credit goes to a friend of BMac - Matt - Ben sent me a pic of an 850 hood with one installed, and it so happened there was a Shelby GT500 at the Paramus meet, so I could see exactly what the scoop looked like in person, as it were. so you dyno'd and stuff yesterday.. right? Fuel delivery and injectors are what's holding me back now.
lookforjoe
After trying a few locations, including the cowl, I finally decided where to put the nozzles - I shaved them down to 1/2" to match the ridges & drilled 15/16" holes 55mm from the outer rear edge Holes were squared off with a flat file, and washer nozzle bases were also shaved. nozzles in place. I thought of looking for GM style nozzles that go on the wiper arms, but didn't want to deal with all that extra plumbing.
