BeachRat
gotcha.. Old One.. seems easier on the eyes.. ←Ditto, the contrast isn't strong enough on the "new" one. I love the art layout on the third one, the photos faded in a background and the s60 are schweet!
Figawi
would the "new" one be better if i used the same colors as the "old" one?
AnthonyR
would the "new" one be better if i used the same colors as the "old" one?←Yes, I think so.Either way VS is finally getting a redesign. To Quote Chopper in the chatroom one day"Just because Chuck's (Volvospeed Admin) car is a 95 doesn't mean his website has to be" :P
Adam Franke
Doesn't matter to me. I have the forums bookmarked, never even go to the rest of the page.
Three Fat Tigers
Very nice work! Major improvement on the home page I'd definitely go with that!
Veneficus
Wow, good work with the homepage. Leaps and bounds of improvement. From a newbies position that site would be much more appealing to join seeing that it is easier to navigate. I myself didn't like VS at first because I found it hard to navigate. We have a decent ammount of knowledge here and I think this would be a better way to get more members. As for the layout I'd have to go with the first one becasue you don't have as much "white space" floating around as you do on the 2nd one. If you add a lefthand bar to the 2nd design, I'd have to go with that one. I'm glad we're finally getting a redesign. Great work!Edit:If you need someone to edit images / work on image designs just give me a yell.
matt1122
I like it. And anyone complaining about visibility obviously hasn't seen the rest of the internet. White on Black is mega out of style. :P
Serge
Absolutely must go with the new one. The current design is ancient, circa 1995 web sites. It's 2004 and designs have changed dramatically over the years. Then again, we do drive decade old cars ;)
