corivus
Flush in the rear with the rims fronts are a different story of course here are what they look like on without tires and no rolling For those who needed a visual of how much they stick out this will be what your dealing with on a 850 turbo wheel well in the front. In the rear it could come out 1mm to be really flush with the body line but for me I like it where it is. All the real work seems like it will need to be done to the fronts. Tommy.
It's because they're RWD offset but I'm sure you already knew that.
corivus
more or less if someone searches it, I'm kinda visual person so needed to see how bad it would be vs. hearing about it. So now that I see it its not as bad as I had imagined it. I was getting all sad that I would have to get some propus or triton's at first until I saw pictures of Pat's old V70 and new it wouldn't be super bad but then I read about v70's having wider wheel wells. So thats when I needed to find out how bad it would actually look.
JVC
You really need to put the car on the ground on the wheel (with something under it of course), with the suspension decompressed it will appear to poke a lot more than it will. What are the offsets and widths on those? 17x7.5 or 8 probably around ET20 or so. I would set the car/wheel down onto some 2x4's to see where it sits then, with the right tire and a fender roll I'm sure they'll fit. corivus
fender roll is coming the weekend after next! was a little nervious to set them down on 2x4's. I put em on some spare wood I had sitting around with the jack to compress them. I'll prob pick some 2x4's up then to see how it looks then. specs are 17x7.5 et

You'll be fine, wheels are much stronger than a 2x4 and will allow you to compress the suspension to get a better idea of how it will sit. Oreo931
Here's an 850 on Polaris. Similar wheel. 17x7 et 25. I think you can make the eikers work. I look forward to seeing results. Like JVC said, once the suspension is compressed, the wheel will not poke out as much.
