DevolvR Posted November 21, 2009 Author Report Posted November 21, 2009 not bad, they look like monte carlos though. You mean VW Monte Carlo wheels? That's the idea But the Pegs now look a lot edgier than those, which is really cool...you'll see them on my White 854 soon and you'll know what I mean. They remind me of Cassiopeia's without the slit in the middle of the spokes. Amazing, how much did it cost and how long did it take? Reasonable price. Not going to say that the service was entirely cheap, but I'm gonna hold off on exposing the price until after you seen it on the car. I'll be installing them in the next few hours whenever I have the time. Pics will be posted today. It took about 4 days for the Rim repair shop to complete; which includes the rash repair, machining, painting, tire installation and balancing.
Mesoam Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 nice to see someone doing it a bit different, those look great!
GiRaff3 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 beware of curbing, OMFG. I really like the look though, awesome!
JoshV70 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Looks fantastic! Can't wait to see quality photos of them. Nice picture of the Cassiopeia btw.
sacrifice Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 You mean VW Monte Carlo wheels? That's the idea Yep. The pegs look much nicer though.
matt b Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Someone finally made Pegs that I like! Those look great, nice idea and good to see that you found a shop able to do it well.
DevolvR Posted November 21, 2009 Author Report Posted November 21, 2009 OK let the whoring begin Just got back from installing them myself. Also did some brake caliper cleaning lol to fit the mood. Someone finally made Pegs that I like! Those look great, nice idea and good to see that you found a shop able to do it well. Yeah, I actually got them repaired at Unionrim.com (for you local guys) in Toronto Canada. Outstanding job, wasn't so sure at first if they could pull it off, but they definately look like quality out of the factory(but better)Anyway, more pics later on the car. Need to do a wash and some tire cleaning :D
matt b Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Wow, that looks even better than I thought it would!
DevolvR Posted November 21, 2009 Author Report Posted November 21, 2009 oy....you don't paint the brake pads lol yeah.. did them last year, but that was when they were out of the calipers. Complete disassembly and then painted each piece separately, so no issues here :D
Oreo931 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 That is absolutely awesome. I can't believe no one has done this before. Looks great!!!
