Jesus
Matt, go ahead and black it out. If you don't like it, I'll trade you. Was taking this route anyway, so you better hurry.

Or we could just do yours, since you were planning on it...and see how it comes out. :)
RBoy8
I'd leave it chrome but that's because I don't mind a little bit of chrome. lol Black would probably look good and match with the lip though. What about colour matched?
ean carr
get a scuff pad and make it look like a brushed aluminum. All black grill doesn't look right on the silver car.
DakotaS60
Thinking about doing this as well to my black R. Would basic matte black paint do the job or should something specific be used? I personally think your grill blacked out would look good and would compliment the lip.
WayAway
Go for it man. I was never into the eggcreate, but i just got one for my V70R and i love it!
C70drvr
I wouldn't do it. The reason it looks so good on that black C70 is because the car itself is black. On yours, it would just stick out like a sore thumb. Personally, if I had your car and were in the same position, I would paint the surround silver to eliminate the chrome, and match the car. Example. I've been toying with the idea of doing mine in saffron.
