Scootdiggity Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 On a light colored car it looks like crap, it sticks out like a sore thumb, plus the chrome gives it some contrast. Some 940's had eggcrate and they were all black which I never liked because their was no contrast, if you hate chrome then color match that portion with the color of car. The other thing is it will chip like a mofo and you will be constantly touching it up.
